Bio
Ben Moore started snowboarding on a trip to Bulgaria and went on to qualify and work as a snowboard instructor in Canada.
After winning gold at the IPC’s first ever Para snowboard event at Landgraff in 2012, Moore went on to record eyecatching World Cup victories in each of the following seasons before claiming banked slalom silver and snowboard cross bronze at the 2015 World Championships in La Molina, Spain – the latter representing the first won by a British athlete at that level.
In 2017 Ben added another World Championship medal to his tally when he picked up banked slalom bronze in Big White, Canada.
Ben was part of the ParalympicsGB team that competed at the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games - the first time Great Britain has had representation in the sport at Paralympic level. Ben finished seventh in the men’s SB-UL banked slalom and tenth in the snowboard cross.
