Just the four medals for pilot Jenny Holl and her tandem partner Sophie Unwin in Paris with a brilliant two gold medals, a silver and a bronze. The pairing doubled their total medal tally in Paris, with their women’s B road race success one of the most memorable sprint finishes of the games.
Originally from Scotland, Holl moved to Manchester in 2017 to be part of the elite British Cycling programme.
In January 2018, Holl became Scotland’s youngest national champion, at the British Track Cycling Championships. The following year, in June 2019, at the European Games in Minsk, Holl won a silver medal in the team pursuit event.
In 2021, Holl switched to Para cycling and is partnered with Sophie Unwin, as her pilot. Unwin and Holl claimed the road world title in 2021 and won a silver medal in the Women’s Road Race Tandem B at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
