Olivia originally got involved because her sister volunteering for the #discoveryourgold talent ID with UK Sport, and she came home and told her that she should try out powerlifting and she enjoyed it.

In 2018 Olivia became the European Junior Champion and went on to win Gold at the Eger World Cup in 2019. Olivia won Bronze in the Manchester World Cup 2020 and continued her winning streak into 2021 bringing back two silver medals in the Tbilisi World Cup and one in the Manchester World Cup.

In 2021, Olivia won two medals in both the junior and senior categories at the World Championships in Tbilisi where she became the junior world lightweight champion and earning a silver medal in the senior lightweight category.

Olivia won her first Commonwealth medal in 2022 when she finished 2.2kg behind England team mate Zoe Newson for a silver medal.

Two years later, she became the world champion in her category for the first time with a record lift of 112kg in Dubai.
