Oliver Lam-Watson was born with klippel-trenaunay syndrome and his leg’s condition worsened around the age of 8. His disability doesn’t allow him to straighten or weight bare on his left leg.
He achieved a bronze medal in the individual Epee in Montréal 2018, followed by a silver medal in Team foil in Warsaw 2018. Competing in the 2019 World Championships, Lam-Watson won a bronze medal in Team Epee.
At his debut Paralympics in Tokyo, he won two medals alongside Dimitri Coutya and Piers Gilliver with silver in the Team Foil and Bronze in the Team Épée.
