Bio

Lyle was just 14 years-old when she lined up in a British vest for the very first time and won double gold at the IPC Athletics European Championships in Swansea, Wales.

The following year she made her mark on the global stage, this time winning two silver medals as well as relay gold at the 2015 World Championships.

More success followed in 2016 when Lyle claimed a trio of gold medals at the European Championships before making her Paralympic Games debut in Rio where she won 4x100m silver and bronze in the T35 100m and 200m.

In 2017 Lyle won silver and bronze at the World Championships in London and went on to win silver at the Commonwealth Games in 2018 for Scotland. At the European Championships that year, Lyle won the T35 100m, and she continued that winning form in 2019, added two more gold medals at the World Para Athletics World Championships in Dubai, her first individual titles at that level.

At the 2021 European Championships, Lyle won gold in both the Women’s T35 100m and 200m.

More medal success followed at the delayed Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games where the Scot won bronze in both the T35 100m and 200m.

In the lead-up to Paris 2024, Lyle secured a further two bronze medals in the T35 100m and 200m at the 2023 World Para Athletics Championships in the French capital.
