Thomas Young burst onto the scene with double T38 gold in 100m and T38 200m at the 2018 European Championships in Berlin.
Young competed in the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships in Dubai winning silver in the Men’s 100m T38, just 0.01s outside the gold medal position. His 2021 season started brightly with wins in Jesolo, Italy, Coventry and Nuneaton while at the European championships in June, he sealed the gold medal in the men’s T38 100m.
Success continued at Tokyo 2020 where Young claimed T38 100m gold on his Games debut in 10.94 seconds.
