Bio
After reaching two finals at London 2012 – her maiden Paralympic Games – Kamlish has continued her rise in the sport. Bronze at the World Championships one year later was the reward as she continued to lower her times.
In June 2016, she won her race at the Rome Diamond League and lowered her personal best to 13.36 which set her up for Rio 2016 where she broke the T44 100m world record in her heats with a time of 12.93. She went on to finish fourth in the final with a time of 13.16.
A year later she claimed a World Championship gold medal at London 2017 having smashed her own world record in the heats, clocking 12.90.
At the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships in Dubai, Kamlish finished sixth in the women’s T64 100m final and after qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, she finished eighth in the same final.
