Bio
Paul Blake – whose dad played Greedo in Star Wars in the 1970s – has won multiple medals at Paralympic, world, and European level.
Blake, won silver and bronze at the London 2012 Paralympic Games and added gold and silver to his collection four years later at Rio 2016.
At the 2015 World Championships in Doha he also won 400m and 800m gold and silver, but having turned his focus to sprints at the 2017 World Para Athletics Championships in London, he missed out on the medals with a best-placed finish of fourth over 400m.
Blake missed much of the 2018 season due to injury, but returned to the track in 2019.
A final world title came his way later that year in Dubai with gold in the T36 800m - two months later in early 2020, Blake announced his retirement from Para athletics.
