Owen took up athletics and joined a local club after his PE teacher recommended he joined after seeing him running in his school sports day. He has been competing since 2006.
Miller made his debut in a British vest at the 2019 World Championships off the back of a very successful year that has saw him set a new personal best in the T20 1500m of 3:56.32 for athletes who compete with learning or intellectual impairments.
He made his Paralympic debut at Tokyo 2020 and sprinted home to gold in 3:54.57.
