Bio

Olivia Breen won bronze as part of the T35-38 4x100m relay team at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

That medal is one of a host of relay medals she has claimed with European silver and gold and world gold also coming in the years following London 2012.

Breen also claimed world gold in the T38 long jump at the 2017 World Championships in London.

At the 2018 Commonwealth Games Breen claimed the long jump title and also won a bronze medal in the T38 100m.

Yet another podium finish came Breen’s way at the Dubai 2019 World Championships with bronze in the T38 long jump.

While she finished out of the medals at Ri0 2016, Breen returned to the podium at Tokyo 2020 with bronze in the T38 long jump.

In a dramatic final at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, the Welsh sprinter edged out England’s Sophie Hahn by 0.04 seconds in the T38 Women’s 100m final. She also

Breen’s efforts earned her the title of BBC Cymru Sports Personality of the Year.

At the 2023 World Para Athletics Championships in Paris, Breen upgraded to the silver medal in the T38 Long Jump, recording a mark of 5.04m.
