Church is visually impaired and is classified into F12 category. She has been competing in athletics since she was eighth years old.
The Peterborough thrower made her international debut in Dubai at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships, finishing in 8th. Church claimed her first international medal with a silver in the F12 Shot Put at the 2021 European Para Athletics Championships in Poland.
That performance earned her a selection to the Paralympic team for Tokyo 2020, where she finished eighth in the F12 Shot Put final. In 2023, Church missed out on her first World Championship medal with a fourth place finish in Paris.
Church has a Level 2 British Athletics coaching licence and has helped train young athletes at Peterborough and Nene Valley Athletics Club in England.
