Luke Nuttall won his first international senior medal at the age of 17 with a silver medal in the T46 1500m at the European Championships in Berlin with a time of 4:22:28.
Three years later, the medal colour changed to bronze at the 2021 edition in Poland but he lowered his personal best in doing so by recording 3:55.25.
He earned selection to his first Paralympic Games in Tokyo, where he finished ninth in the T46 1500m final.
Nuttall’s stepmother and stepsister are Liz and Eilish McColgan, two long distance runners for Team GB.
