Lee will be making his Paralympic debut in Paris, seven years after gaining his first international cap as a junior at the U-22 Europeans.

He made his full senior debut at last year’s World Championships, where the team won silver. In the same year, Lee helped the team achieve a undefeated run at the 2023 European Championships where they claimed gold.

Lee discovered wheelchair basketball when he was in school and his first club were the Wakefield Whirlwinds before playing in the higher divisions with Sheffield Steelers. He now plays his club basketball in Spain.

Lee has recently taken up fishing as a new hobby after a friend invited him along to have a go.

Despite not catching anything in three hours, Lee enjoys the tranquillity of fishing and how it enables him to switch off.
