Bio
Kyle has played wheelchair basketball for 15 years when it was suggested by his swimming coach he should give it a try. Since that sport switch, he has been part of the last two ParalympicsGB squads that have won back-to-back bronze medals in Rio and Tokyo.
Within three years of taking to court for the first time, Kyle earned a call-up to represent the GB U22 Team at the 2006, 2008, and 2010 U22 European Championships – winning silver at the latter Championship and securing a place in the All-Star Team.
He made the senior team at the 2013 and 2015 European Championships, becoming a double champion in the process.
As a father of a five-year-old, Kyle loves to spend his time away from sport with his son. Since becoming a father, Kyle believes he’s improved as an athlete and credits the balance that being a parent has given him for this. He currently lives and plays professionally in Malaga, Spain.
