Bio
Helen is now the most experienced ParalympicsGB female wheelchair basketball player after also debuting as the youngest member aged 18 in Beijing 2008.
A four-time Paralympian, she has helped the team win 10 major medals including six bronze and three silver at European level as well as the historic World Championship silver in 2018.
Whilst at the University of Illinois, Helen combined academic and athletic endeavours with great success, graduating with an Undergraduate degree in Kinesiology in May 2014 with High Honours. Helen then went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Business Administration the following year, graduating in August 2015. She was an Athletic All-American all five years as well as an Academic All-American for three years.
She was part of the team that reached the Quarter-Finals at Paris 2024 losing to Team USA 59-52.
She now plays her club basketball in Spain but has also previously played for teams in France and Germany.
