Frankie Allen claimed gold at her debut Paralympic Games as part of the winning PR3 mixed coxed four at Paris 2024.
In her first season on the team Frankie achieved incredible success at the World Rowing Championships 2022 becoming a double World Champion in the Mixed Fours & PR3 Women’s double sculls making Frankie the first woman in the sports history, alongside her rowing partner Giedre Rakauskite, to win two Championship titles in one regatta.
Frankie has continued to push the Mixed Four to new heights becoming a world record holder alongside her crew at the World Rowing Cup II 2023 and later that year defending her title at World Championships 2023.
Frankie’s first rowing experience was aged 12, in a single called “Tinkerbelle” in Henley-On-Thames on a very long rope held by her uncle. From there she went on to row at Pangbourne College and later continued her rowing development at Oxford Brookes University alongside studying for her Physiotherapy degree. During this time Frankie discovered that her disability, Erb’s palsy, was classifiable for Paralympic Rowing.
Shortly after starting University in 2022, she trialled for the GB Para Rowing Team and never looked back.
