Sally Kidson has been a star-in-the-making since making her international debut at the age of 17 in 2022.
In just two years, she has become a world beater in the BC3 category with credible victories over world champion Ana Costa in Zagreb and a European champion in Sonia Heckel at another challenger event in a breakout 2023, which saw her shine in the European Para Championships in Rotterdam.
In the Paralympic Games qualifying event last March, Sally - together with Will Arnott - overcame two defeats in the BC3 Pair pool matches before going on to win gold, securing Great Britain a spot for the BC3 Pairs in Paris. She is supported on court by ramp assistant, Hannah Stewart.
Away from Boccia, Sally is a keen musician and has performed with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra Resound ensemble and the National Open Youth Orchestra. She hopes to pursue Music as an undergraduate degree.
