Maisie Summers-Newton

Maisie Summers-Newton has won titles at all levels including Paralympic, World, European and Commonwealth events - after only making her debut in 2018.

The Northants swimmer claimed two gold medals and one bronze at Paris 2024, successfully defending her SM6 individual medley and 100m breaststroke titles while adding bronze in the S6 400m freestyle.

For her efforts after Tokyo 2020, Maisie was awarded an MBE and is currently training to be a teacher at the University of Northampton.

She became a triple world champion in 2022 after topping the podium in the S6 400m freestyle, SM6 200m Individual Medley and SB6 100m breaststroke before adding the Commonwealth title in the latter event to her name at the end of the summer.

Most recently at the 2024 Europeans in Madeira, Maisie retained her titles in the SB6 100m Breaststroke and SM6 200m Individual Medley as well as adding a silver in the 400m freestyle and bronze in the 50m event.
