Jack won back-to-back World Championship Singles titles in 2017 and 2019, marking an incredible comeback after major surgery five years before his maiden triumph.
Both of his legs were broken in two places to allow them to be straightened, and after nine months recovering in a wheelchair, he has gone from strength to strength to climb to the top of the rankings.
Jack, who hails from Dronfield in Derbyshire, has always been a keen sportsman and started playing badminton at the age of 10.
As a singles player, Jack did not advance from the group stages on his Paralympic debut in Tokyo, but he has enjoyed success in the mixed doubles with partner Rachel Choong. Together, they won a world bronze medal in 2022 followed by a European title in 2023.
Jack made it a European double triumph in 2023 by also winning the SH6 men’s singles tournament.
Away from his professional sport, Jack is an avid golfer and loves the darts.
