Teenager Hester Poole makes her Paralympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026 in the visually impaired class Para Alpine events, and will pair up with guide Ali Hall, who she has skied with since 2023.
Poole first began skiing aged six near her home on the dry slope in Mendip - and quickly progressed, competing internationally for the first time at just 12-years-old, guided by her brother Benjie.
The 18-year-old from Bath is currently balancing school studies with training with GB Snowsport Team and has already enjoyed plenty of success at FIS and National Championships level over the past three seasons.
Hester, who has 5-10 percent vision having been born with the rare eye disease Leber congenital amaurosis, has a guide dog called Pickle and is a Youth Ambassador for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
