Hannah is a five-time British Champion, two-time World Champion, European Champion and now Paralympic bronze medallist after making her ParalympicsGB debut in Paris in the women’s PTS4 Para triathlon event.
Her Para triathlon career began in 2017 after it was included on a list of things she wanted to achieve following her amputation. She paid £5,000 for a private procedure in 2016 following complications from an ingrown toenail, which she said has “given me my life back,” after also dealing with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.
On the two-year anniversary of her amputation, she won European gold in 2018 in Tartu. Hannah won her next six races over two years, ending in a British title before taking a break after 2021.
She returned in 2023 with another European success in Madrid, where she collected bronze followed by a respectable fourth at the World Championships in Spain.
Away from triathlon, Hannah likes to bake and take long walks with her dog Rex.
