Bruce Dee made his international debut at the 2024 European Para Swimming Championships in Madeira – and capped it with a maiden international medal.

The Kettering-born athlete secured silver in the Men’s SM6 200m Individual Medley event, while placing just outside the podium in fourth across a further four events in a busy racing programme.

Having emerged through the ranks at Northampton Swimming Club, Dee trains alongside double Paralympic champion Maisie Summers-Newton and the Humphrey twins, Scarlett and Eliza. His passions away from the pool include following Formula 1 and American Football.

Paris 2024 was Dee’s first Paralympic Games.
