Brock Whiston made her Paralympic debut at Paris 2024, winning gold in the SM8 200m individual medley two days after she claimed silver in the SB8 100m breaststroke.
She made her international debut at the London 2019 World Championships, winning four golds and setting multiple world records.
Following a period away from international competition, Whiston reached an individual final on her return to the global stage at Madeira 2022, before qualifying for her third World Championships appearance a year later where she reached three finals in front of a home crowd at Manchester 2023.
After taking swimming lessons as a youngster, Whiston developed her love for the sport, along with an admiration for Ellie Simmonds and her achievements. Paris 2024 will be Whiston’s first Paralympic Games.
Away from the pool Whiston enjoys baking and visiting zoos.
