Where to watch the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games

The Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games are here, and with 12 days of action ahead of us, here’s a quick breakdown of where you can catch all the coverage live from Japan.

With exclusive rights to broadcast in the UK, Channel 4 recently announced it’s most ambitious coverage plans ever, with more than 1,300 hours of Paralympic action being shown across the platforms, including 300 hours on Channel 4 and More 4.

There will also be over 1,000 hours of competition across 16 live streams, which can all be found on paralympics.channel4.com, covering every sport that has live broadcasting.

Live sport will be shown throughout the night, before going into a mid morning show on Channel 4, which will be hosted live from Leeds with Clare Balding as well as from Tokyo.

For the first time, More4 will be a dedicated team sports channel, showing all the wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby fixtures.

It all commences on 24 August, live on Channel 4, as the opening ceremony starts the Games coverage from 11.30BST.

Arthur Williams and Steph McGovern will host Paralympics Breakfast

Every morning, Arthur Williams and Steph McGovern will host Paralympics Breakfast, reviewing all the overnight highlights and introduce the morning’s live coverage across the sports.

Today in Tokyo and Gold Rush will continue all the action into the evening before the Last Leg returns live from London, hosted by Adam Hills, Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicombe, with Rosie Jones in Tokyo.
