Sally Hancock appointed Non-Executive Director of British Paralympic Association

Sally Hancock has been appointed to the Board of the British Paralympic Association following open recruitment.

Sally is a leader in award-wining brand and sports partnerships, with a passion for driving inclusion through sport. She is the co-founder of the brand and sports consultancy, Y Sport, worked with SSE on their Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games partnership, and led Lloyds Banking Group’s London 2012 partnership. Sally is the former Chair of the charity, Women in Sport.

Nick Webborn, Chair of the BPA, said: “I am delighted to welcome Sally to the Board of the BPA. Sally has huge expertise and experience in strategic brand partnerships in Paralympic and Olympic sports but has also demonstrated a passion for driving diversity and inclusion through sport. Her expertise will only strengthen the BPA board and help us deliver on our new strategy for our athletes.”

Sally Hancock said: “As a long-standing advocate for disability sport, I’m so pleased to be joining the BPA Board, and look forward to being part of an ambitious 10-year strategy for the BPA.”
