ParalympicsGB Chair of the Board
As our current Chair reaches the end of his second four year term, we’re seeking an experienced strategic leader with the skills, commitment, and credibility to lead ParalympicsGB through the Milan-Cortina 2026 and LA 2028 Paralympic Games Cycle. In addition to chairing the ParalympicsGB Board and supporting the CEO and Executive Team, the successful candidate will act as President of the National Paralympic Committee – the primary representative of ParalympicsGB to its membership and to the International Paralympic Committee.
We’re pursuing world-leading performance at the Paralympic Games and leveraging that performance to drive social impact and inspire a better world for disabled people. Our new Chair will be committed to creating the best performance environment possible whilst also being committed to improving the lives of disabled people and promoting inclusion, diversity, equality, and accessibility for all.
We’re particularly interested to hear from candidates with experience in fundraising and commercial partnerships, international relations and public affairs, and/or sport and physical activity.
If our strategic ambition excites you, if you have relevant experience and expertise, and if you can commit your time to providing leadership, support and constructive challenge, we’d welcome your application to the role.

About us
We are ParalympicsGB. As the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) for Great Britain, it is our responsibility to select, prepare, enter, fund and manage the Great Britain and Northern Ireland team at the Paralympic Games.
In what are extremely challenging times globally, Championing Change, our 2022-32 strategy, looks to set a long-term direction for ParalympicsGB. It both reflects on the near-term challenges and pressures and looks further ahead, setting ambitions for a ten-year period.
Thinking beyond the four-year Paralympic cycle allows us to raise our ambitions as a world-leading Paralympic team and as a force for change for disabled people across the UK. London 2012 kindled a passion for disability sport and demonstrated the power of the Paralympics to inspire a shift in perceptions of disability and ability. This strategy builds on that through the continued success of ParalympicsGB and by delivering real and sustainable improvements to the lives of disabled people across the UK over the next ten years. This is epitomised by our Equal Play Campaign.
