ParalympicsGB and Aldi extend partnership to 2032

ParalympicsGB and Aldi, the UK’s fourth-largest supermarket, have extended their successful partnership through to 2032.

The eight-year extension to the partnership follows a highly successful Paris 2024 Paralympic Games for ParalympicsGB, finishing second on the medal table for the third consecutive Summer Games with a phenomenal 124 medals including 49 golds - and watched by 20 million viewers.

Aldi also collaborated with ParalympicsGB at their dedicated fan zone at Battersea Park Power station - one of six fan zones across the UK which were enjoyed by over 400,000 spectators across the 12 days of Paralympic Games action.

The partnership renewal means Aldi will continue to support ParalympicsGB athletes as they work towards the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games, as well as the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games, French Alps 2030 Paralympic Winter Games and Brisbane 2032 Paralympic Games.

Aldi has been the Official Supermarket Partner of ParalympicsGB since 2022. The collaboration builds on Aldi’s existing partnership with Team GB, which the supermarket has supported since 2015.

Since then, Aldi, ParalympicsGB and Team GB have reached more than three million young people as part of the ‘Get Set to Eat Fresh’ initiative, a free school-based education programme which teaches children about affordable healthy eating.

‘Get Set to Eat Fresh’ is brought to life by ParalympicsGB and Team GB athletes and helps children aged 5-14 develop the skills required to cook nutritious, affordable meals.

Since 2022, Paralympic athletes have supported 56 Aldi store openings across the UK and delivered inspirational assemblies to local schools as part of the supermarket’s ’Get Set to Eat Fresh’ initiative.

Jenny Seymour, Commercial Director at ParalympicsGB, said: “Aldi has been a core partner of ParalympicsGB since 2022, so we are excited to be extending our partnership.

“This renewed commitment not only supports our incredible Para athletes as they pursue their Paralympic dreams but also helps us inspire future generations to embrace the values of sport, wellbeing and healthy living. We’re looking forward to building on the impact we’ve made together and to achieving even more in the years ahead.”

**Kyrsten Halley, Marketing Director at Aldi UK, said: **“We’re proud to extend our partnership with ParalympicsGB through to the Brisbane 2032 Games. This decade-long commitment reflects our shared values of inclusivity, determination and community.

“Together, we aim to inspire the next generation through initiatives like ‘Get Set to Eat Fresh’ while supporting ParalympicsGB athletes in achieving their goals on the world stage.”
