ParalympicsGB and adidas announce partnership renewal to 2032

ParalympicsGB and adidas have today announced a new eight year extension to their iconic partnership.

Extending until 2032, adidas will continue to equip ParalympicsGB athletes for summer Games in Los Angeles 2028 and Brisbane 2032, as well as the Paralympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina 2026 and French Alps 2030 as the official sportswear provider for the British team.

The longstanding partnership, which began in 2008, will supply selected ParalympicsGB athletes with competition wear across the 22 Paralympic summer sports and six Paralympic winter sports. adidas will also provide village and podium apparel that athletes will wear off the field of play during competition time.

The announcement of the latest extension comes following another highly successful Paralympic Games for ParalympicsGB, with the team collecting 124 medals in total – including 49 golds, to finish second on the medal table for the third consecutive Summer Games.

This year’s ParalympicsGB apparel collection worn at Paris 2024 was designed to enable athletes with disabilities to compete in comfort and without distraction at the Games, with an athlete-first fit and integrated accessible features such as smart placement and/or inclusion of seams, avoiding light colours on cuffs to prevent obvious dirt transfer from wheels and moving team iconography from covered areas - such as the lower back – to positions visible while seated.

ParalympicsGB replica team kit was also released for the first time, enabling the wider public to purchase kit and show their support for the team.

David Clarke, CEO at ParalympicsGB said: “Over the course of this partnership, adidas has become one of ParalympicsGB’s most trusted partners. Whether it’s working with world-leading designers, such as Stella McCartney, or drawing upon the latest sport performance technology, adidas’ support has helped our country’s greatest Para athletes perform at their best and stand out on the world stage. We’re excited to see ParalympicsGB athletes wear adidas apparel in Paralympic Games to come.”

Kathryn Swarbrick, Senior Vice President of adidas Northern Europe said: “We’re proud to announce the extension of the partnership between adidas and ParalympicsGB, marking our ongoing commitment to providing athletes with the best performance technology and eye-catching designs. This year’s Games saw ParalympicsGB inspire the nation, finishing an outstanding second in the medal table. The team surpassed our total in Tokyo with incredible haul of 49 gold medals and 124 overall. As we look to the Winter Games and beyond to LA 2028 we’re delighted to be part of the journey of our ParalympicsGB athletes and team.”
