ParalympicsGB Advertising Guidelines
At ParalympicsGB we understand the important contribution funding partners and sponsors make to sporting success.
The ParalympicsGB Advertising Guidelines are to help athletes, agents, athlete sponsors and National Governing Bodies understand how they may benefit from sponsorship opportunities, whilst also clarifying what sponsors may and may not do when promoting their support for Para athletes.
Paralympic properties and rights of association are protected at all times, not just at the Games. These guidelines should be followed throughout the year, in all athlete advertising and personal sponsorship deals. There are some additional rules that apply to the Paralympics Games period. This includes a requirement that ParalympicsGB must be notified of the advertising, and a requirement to demonstrate that the advertising has been in market at the same level for a minimum of 3 months prior to the Games period (i.e. it is not targeting the Paralympic Games). These rules are detailed in the guidelines.
