Paralympic champion Cundy offers top tips to BPA fundraisers
Ahead of this weekend’s Dulux London Revolution ride our ParalympicsGB fundraising team had the chance to get some top tips from one of the best in the business.
Some of our riders who have been raising funds for ParalympicsGB met four-time Paralympic cycling gold medallist Jody Cundy at the Lee Valley VeloPark.
Cundy, who recently added two World Championship titles to his medal collection, put the riders through their paces and offered some expert tips on how to tackle the 300km course.
Jody Cundy meets ParalympicsGB's Fearless fundraisers
“It’s been great to come and meet some of the people who will be raising funds for ParalympicsGB,” said Cundy.
“To have those people out there raising money for us, it’s the bit that helps us do the job we need to do at the Games.”
“I think they are going to be pretty handy. Two or three of them at least have done a 100-mile ride so that’s one of the days sorted.
“And then see how they back it up with another big day the next day but I think they’ll have no problems with the skills that I’ve seen on show today.”
