Ladybower Fisheries BDAA - Every Body Moves Club of the Month, August 2026

Congratulations to Ladybower Fisheries BDAA, the winners of our Every Body Moves powered by Toyota Club of the Month Award for August!

Nestled in the Peak District National Park, the Ladybower team are showing that inclusive coaching practices, modern adaptive fishing equipment, and a crew keen to share their angling passion, all help create one of the most accessible fishing locations we’ve ever seen.

Richard Grainger, inclusive angling coach at the organisation told us about the mindset that got the organisation started: “For too long it’s always been kind of limited to people with full mobility. You never saw a disabled angler fishing… I can’t ever remember seeing somebody in a wheelchair. But I also knew the value of what it brings to your mental health, the calm of just sitting on the bank, out of the way, in peace and quiet. Why can’t everybody be able to enjoy this?”
