Role: Milano Cortina 2026 Chief Medical Officer

About you
The Chief Medical Officer for Milano Cortina 2026 will be part of ParalympicsGB’s Sports Science and Medicine SLT, collaborating with Head of Performance Services and UKSI/ParalympicsGB Chief Medical Officer for Paralympic Sport. It is the responsibility of you and the SLT to ensure there is consistency of planning and delivery across all Games time environments; working supportively to ensure the wider team has the best possible chance of success.
The successful candidate will lead the medical, healthcare and wellbeing provision to ParalympicsGB athletes and the wider staff team which may require 24-hour support.
You should be passionate about Paralympic sport and enjoy working within a high performing team. You will have the skillset needed to prioritise and deliver a number of key areas of work for the ParalympicsGB team.

We are ParalympicsGB. As the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) for Great Britain, it is our responsibility to select, prepare, enter, fund and manage the ParalympicsGB team at the Paralympic Games. We also have a strong strategic objective to use the successes and the stories of Paralympic athletes to inspire wider societal change.
The ParalympicsGB Team has finished 2nd in the medal table at the past two summer Paralympic Games and has also had gold medal success at the last two winter Paralympic Games.
This role will be based in the Paralympic Games Environments in Milano Cortina which includes: The ParalympicsGB Performance Centre within the Paralympic Village and Clusters.
