About us
We are ParalympicsGB, the National Paralympic Committee for Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Our success is built on the amazing performances of disabled athletes, who demonstrate that talent and potential is strong across all of society. We aim to create a truly inclusive, welcoming environment where every member of our team can thrive and where every individual feels their contribution matters, regardless of identity or background.
We are proud to be a Disability Confident Leader, reflecting our passion for disability inclusion. We are at our most effective with disabled people and non-disabled people working together and we are committed to supporting people with disabilities or long-term conditions by removing barriers that they may face at work.
ParalympicsGB will continue to be a great organisation if our staff reflects the full breadth of the society we represent. If you believe you can do the job, we want you to apply.
What we do
It is our responsibility to select, prepare, enter, fund, and lead the ParalympicsGB team at Summer and Winter Paralympic Games. Together with athletes and the governing bodies of their sports, we have become world-leading in sending a Best Prepared team.
But ParalympicsGB is far more than a world-leading sports team, winning medals across a diverse range of sports. Our mission includes driving positive, sustainable change for disabled people in UK society.
Our ambition is to use the positive power of the Paralympics and of Paralympic athletes to inspire a change in attitudes to disability and bring about equality for disabled people in sport, education and society.
We listen to, and learn from athletes, the disabled community, and the sport, education and disability sectors.
With the excitement of the Paris Paralympic Games still fresh in our minds and the recent launch of Championing Change Creating Social Impact 2024-2032.pdf, there could not be a more exciting time to join us!
About you
Delivering a Best Prepared team is a cornerstone of our organisation’s 10-year strategy, ensuring all team members are ready to deliver their roles for ParalympicsGB at each Summer and Winter Paralympic Games. You will join the sport team at an exciting time as we prepare for the upcoming Winter Games in Milano-Cortina and the next Summer Games of LA 2028.
ParalympicsGB’s Games Services strategy is in place to ensure all areas of Qualification & Selection, Accreditation and Sport Entries are delivered to the highest standards. You will also lead the maintenance and development of ParalympicsGB Base, our bespoke, accessible database, that we use to collect all team accreditation data.
Your role will also help to support the Chef de Mission of each Summer and Winter Games, to deliver the ParalympicsGB Team Development Strategy; ensuring every member of the team is Games-ready and Best Prepared to deliver their role.
