British Paralympic Association pay tribute to Jacob Thomas
The British Paralympic Association is greatly saddened to hear of the passing of boccia player and London 2012 Paralympian Jacob Thomas who has died at the age of 25.
The Welshman, who participated in both the team and individual boccia events at the Paralympic Games in 2012, retired from the sport four years later having also won the British title four times during his distinguished career, as well as silver and bronze medals at the World Championships in 2014 and podium finishes at the European Championships. He reached the very top of his sport in the 2015-2016 season, when he was ranked number one in the world in his class.
