Help Shape Inclusive Sport and Physical Activity for All:

• Are you passionate about breaking down barriers for the disabled community and empowering disabled people to become more active?
• Would you like to use your lived experience of disability to help shape better opportunities for the disabled community?
• Our Lived Experience Advisory Board (LAB) is seeking new members eager to contribute to this transformative work.

As a LAB member, you’ll play a fundamental role in supporting ParalympicsGB’s social impact objectives, directly contributing to the vision of “Through sport, inspire a better world for disabled people.” This is more than advisory; it’s about co-production and collaboration with a friendly, down-to-earth team. You’ll actively help shape programme decisions, sharing your insight across workstreams like Every Body Moves, Get Set, Equal Play, and Beyond the Podium ensuring our initiatives truly reflect the needs and aspirations of the disabled community.

Entering its second term, we’re expanding the LAB’s focus. With a new social impact strategy, we’re looking to you to share your experiences and insight to help co-produce our work to ensure opportunities to be more active are open, enjoyable, and accessible for the whole disabled community across the UK.

Our work is strengthened by a mix of voices. We invite people from diverse backgrounds, impairments, conditions, and communities. Whether you’re experienced in social impact, sport, physical activity, co-production, disability activism or new to all of it, your insights will ground our work in the communities we serve.

By joining the LAB, you’ll:

• Contribute to ParalympicsGB’s key social impact initiatives.
• Influence inclusive, barrier-free sport and physical activity opportunities.
• Ensure sport and physical activity initiatives for the disabled community are more representative and inclusive for more disabled people across the UK.
• Be part of a collaborative, supportive team focused on real change.
