Bio

Scottish marathon runner Derek Rae competed for ParalympicsGB at Rio 2016 but did not finish the marathon race.

He has significantly improved his times in recent years, and won silver in his class at the 2019 Marathon World Championships in London with a new sub 2:30 personal best - knocking a phenomenal six minutes off his previous best.
