Davies and Bayley through to European finals

World champion Will Bayley and European champion Rob Davies are through to the finals of the European Championships in Vejle, Denmark. 

Bayley beat GB team mate Billy Shilton 3-0 in their semi-final and will play Jean-Paul Montanus of the Netherlands in the final of men's class 7 at 16:30 local time today.

Davies overcame strong resistance from the Russian Dmitry Lavrov to win 3-2 in his semi-final and will play World number one Jean-Francois Ducay from France in the final at 16:30 today.

Paul Karabardak (men's class 6), David Wetherill (men's class 6) and Tom Matthews (men's class 1) all take bronze medals after losing in their semi-finals this morning.

Karabardak lost a very close match to the Danish defending champion Peter Rosenmeier 3-2, Wetherill was beaten 3-0 by the World champion Alvaro Valera from Spain and Matthews was beaten 3-1 by Ducay.
