More medals for Great Britain in Deauville

The final day of competition at the FEI Para-Equestrian Dressage European Championships in Deauville, France, saw the Individual Freestyle medals contested across the five grades. Great Britain’s athletes replicated their performances from yesterday’s Individual Championship tests, securing an Individual Gold and four Silver medals, to head home with a total of eleven medals.

Great Britain enjoy a great day at Para-Equestrian Dressage Europeans

Some stunning performances from Great Britain’s equestrian athletes at the FEI Para-Equestrian Dressage European Championships saw the British Team retain their European title, and with it their unbeaten team record. Alongside the team title, there were five individual medals won in today’s Individual Championship classes, with Sophie Christiansen posting for the second day running the highest score of the day across the five grades.

Pearson makes it three

The ‘god father’ of dressage put together a heavenly performance today to claim his hat-trick of Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games gold medals in the Grade Ib.  It’s a title Lee Pearson has reluctantly accepted this week but with 22 championship gold medals over a 15 year career, it’s an appropriate one.
