He was selected to represent GB at the Paralympics in Atlanta ’96 having attained 12th position in the world rankings.

Injury forced a new direction and after Atlanta Paul changed to shoot air pistol however, ongoing problems put an end to that. Paul is now heavily involved in Disabled Clay Target Shooting. He is the Chairman of Sussex CPSA Disabled Shooting Group and am the Project Lead for the IPC Shotgun Project whose aim is to have Clay Target Shooting recognised at International level and ultimately, the Paralympics.

I funded and organised a mini International Clay Shoot in 2008 (covered in March 2009 Pull magazine) as an ongoing part of the project, to which the IPC Chief Classifier was invited to see how the IPC classification rules would/could relate to clay shooters.
