As a way of learning how to ski again she began racing and instantly fell in love with it, deciding to put her all into it.

Nine years after, she represented Great Britain at the 2006 Winter Paralympic Games in Turin. She competed in Downhill, Super G, Giant Slalom and Slalom. Liz says "It was an amazing experience, one I will never forget and it was such an honour to be able to represent my county"
