Lee Greatbatch

Born with glaucoma, Lee lost he sight aged 7, at around the same time as he was taken into foster care and was eventually matched with a loving foster family who helped him turn his life around.

Lee loved football as a child but thought it was over when he starting losing his sight. He later discovered blind football whilst at a specialist boarding school for blind children, and went on to Hereford College where he began training with the England Blind Football Team.

Lee has completed internationally all over the world and represented Great Britain at the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games. Living in Worcestershire,

Lee now runs his own business advising on foster care and doing inspirational speaking about his experiences.
